Teeny Mimi — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 8 October 2026

1. In short

  • Teeny Mimi is made for children aged 3 to 6 and is used under a parent’s supervision. It has no advertising.
  • There is no registration or login. We do not ask for a child’s name, email, phone number, photo, voice, location or date of birth.
  • The app uses a random identifier, not linked to anyone’s identity, to save progress and keep the subscription working.
  • We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising or profiling.
  • Purchases and parent settings are protected by a parental gate.

2. Who we are

Teeny Mimi is operated by Olena Hurova, individual entrepreneur (FOP), registered in Ukraine, 8-A Yaroslava Hasheka Blvd, Kyiv, 02160, Ukraine, hurova.olena@gmail.com (we, us). We are the controller of the data described here.

3. What we process and why

  • App identifier: a random ID created by the app, used to save progress and link the subscription. If a parent restores a purchase on another device, devices sharing that purchase are linked.
  • Progress: which videos were watched to the end, game progress and rewards placement, stored on our servers so progress is kept. We do not store viewing times or durations.
  • Subscription data: product, transaction IDs, dates and status, processed through RevenueCat and the app stores. On iOS, RevenueCat also receives Apple’s vendor identifier (IDFV). We never receive payment card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and app version and the content requested, processed when the app connects to our servers, and basic error information if the app crashes. Used to deliver content, keep the service secure and fix faults.
  • Support: if a parent emails us, we keep the email and message to reply.

Playback position, screen time, parent statistics, drawings, settings and downloaded videos stay on the device only. We do not collect advertising identifiers, and the app has no analytics, advertising, chat, camera, microphone or uploads.

Legal basis (EU/UK): performance of our contract with the parent, and our legitimate interest in running and securing the app safely for children.

4. Who receives data

Only service providers acting on our instructions: Amazon Web Services (our servers), Bunny (video hosting and delivery), RevenueCat (subscriptions), our error-reporting provider, and Apple and Google (payments, under their own policies). We share data with authorities only where the law requires. Data may be processed in the European Union and the United States, with Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful safeguards where needed.

5. Children and parents

The app is designed so that we do not need personal information from children. The identifiers and progress data are used only to run the app and are never used to contact a child, build a profile or show advertising.

Parents can ask what data we hold or ask us to delete it by writing to hurova.olena@gmail.com. Because there are no accounts, please include your App Store or Google Play order number if you have a subscription, so we can find the data. Deleting the app removes all data stored on the device. Deleting data does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings. EU/UK residents may also complain to their data protection authority.

6. How long we keep data

Progress data and the app identifier are deleted after 24 months without use, or earlier on request. Server and delivery logs are kept for up to 90 days. Support emails are kept for up to 24 months. Subscription records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections, restrict access and use reputable providers.

8. Changes and contact

We will update this policy before adding any new kind of data processing, and tell parents in the app about material changes. Questions: hurova.olena@gmail.com.
